Peptides: a clear introduction
What peptide language can—and cannot—tell you about a finished skincare formula.
Editorial draft for education only. It requires professional, legal, and market review before publication.
Start with the formula
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. In skincare, the specific peptide, formulation context, stability, and finished formula all matter. An ingredient name alone is not evidence of a product result.
Read claims with context
Useful product information should connect each appearance-focused claim to evidence for the finished formula. General ingredient research should not be presented as proof that every product containing that ingredient performs the same way.
